Calling for Outdoor Recipes!

Marian's Deer Roast
1 deer roast
garlic cloves
Microwave Kitchen Bouquet spray
Teriyaki sauce
1 onion, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1-2 cans Campbells Golden Mushroom Soup
(depends on size of meat)
parsley flakes
ground black pepper
garlic powder
seasoned salt
Worcestershire sauce
1. Cut small slits in deer roast and insert garlic cloves to taste. Spray Kitchen Bouquet on roast. Marinate in teriyaki sauce overnight.
2. Drain off marinade. Put roast in a crockpot and add the remaining ingredients.
3. Cook on low for 10-12 hours. Soup will make gravy.
This recipe has been published in "Deer Camp Dan's Cookbook" and was compiled by Andrea Van Steenhouse and Jean Marie Martini for Danny Baize.
The introduction reads....
The campfire, the bounty of the hunt, friendship, the warmth of a smile, a tall tale, and a satisfying meal, what do these things all have in common?
To be properly enjoyed, they must be shared. In this spirit, we the members of the North American Hunting Club have contributed our favorite recipes to Hunters Helping Hunters for your enjoyment.
In the finest tradition of sharing our bounty, we present them as Deer Camp Dan's Cookbook.

Bryan, deerPhD, has officially called for recipes. He said, "Here’s the incentive - If you post the recipe on your site, then I will link to it. So, there’s a free link waiting for anyone with a good recipe. Alternatively, if you don’t want the link or if you don’t have a site, please feel free to send me e-mails anyway, and I’ll give you full credit".
The guidelines are:
To qualify as a wild game recipe, it must include wild game (i.e., not a side)
Feel free to send side dish recipes, but they will be grouped as such
I’m also seeking outdoor recipes in the form of camping recipes (i.e., poor pan’s pie, smores, etc.)
Notes:
I am aware that some sites already have compilations of recipes. I will try my best to link to the best of these sites.
So, send ‘em in, and I’ll get a page ready in the meantime. If this works, then I’ll inform all when I unveil the new feature - hopefully just in time or some good winter eatin’!

Bryan (deerphd) you are so welcome! This is an original that I concocted myself. You never know, you may have you a published cookbook one day! :)
