Some of us lucky ones will remember this! If any of you have doubt about what kids paid for a coke and a sandwich at Woolworth in the late 1950's, here's proof.......This WAS a sweetthing!

Wow, I remember thinking that 5 dollars was a lot of money when I was a kid, and prices were higher than those on your menu at that time. In the 1950s a dollar would have seemed like a fortune. You could practically buy an entire meal for a dollar.

Thanks for sharing that. It's was fun to compare prices.
