hunting near Hazelhurst. The 8- point buck weighted 150 pounds and had an inside spread of 12 inches. It was shot from 100 yard with a 30-30.
Ashley Weathersby, 10, killed her first
deer on November 22 at a deer camp in Warren County. Ashley is the daughter of Theresa and Pete Weathersby of Vicksburg.
Sydnie Palmer, 11, shot this 8-pointer while
hunting with her father, Paul Lynn, in south Warren County. This is Syndie's first
deer. She shot it with a 7mm-08. Sydnie's mother is Stephanie Lynn.
Todd Myers shot this big 10-point, 220-pound buck on December 19. The
deer's rack had a 19-inch inside spread. Todd is pictured with his 2-year old son, John Russell.
Marc Jordan bagged his first deer while
hunting in Brookhaven with his uncle Mike Magee. The 5-pointer weighed 175 pounds and was shot at 75 yards. Marc is the son of Robert and Cesalie Schaffer. My congrats to all our
hunters in our
great wild outdoors!

I love seeing new photos of people, especially the younger crowd, enjoying the outdoors and hunting!!! Congrats to all those pictured for a successful deer season!
