I'm not sure what this towboat ERGONOT is pushing. Stop by the overlook to see if there was any river traffic this afternoon and was making it's way south on the Mississippi River at Vicksburg.
Zoomed in and got a deckhand sitting down talking on a cell phone at the pilot's door.
The sandbar is way out and on a very hot sunny 97 degree weather. The river is at 1.0 feet and rose: 0.03 foot. Flood stage is 43 feet.
