Wildlife Extravaganza!

The Wildlife Extravaganza was held at the Trade Mart in Jackson, Mississippi, from this past Friday, August 3 through this Sunday, August 5. This morning Bob and I got on the road and spent the morning and afternoon there. Their were a lot of good exhibits and wildlife. We really enjoyed ourselves. They had a Fetch-N-Fish fetch tub and when we got there they were teaching this dog to fetch his favorite toy, which was a Cat In the Hat toy, and to retrieved it from the watertank full of fish. This is first time I have ever seen a dog swim in the water whereby you could see his feet doing the dog-paddle! On stage a guy was talking about all the snakes that live in Mississippi. Of course, he had the snakes there and showing them off! A lot of deer heads, 4-wheelers, hunting clothes, etc., etc., etc. We saw some of our friends and got some goodies to bring home. Charming, Just Charming!

  2. That brings back some pleasant memories. Back when I was really into deer hunting, I never missed the Texas Trophy Hunters Association Exposition in Fort Worth.

Look at the ribbons on those antlers. Very nice.

I'm not a hunter, but we are "gun people". My daddy was a deer hunter. We usually have deer each year. A friend hunts and we pay him for the 'dressing' of one of his deer. He usually has some deer sausage, summer sausage, ground deer and steaks. I don't like to eat it very often.

    Have a great Sunday evening.

I'd have to agree with wagsandpurrs. No snakes for me!
The rest of it sounds like fun though.
