Lil' Bit of This and That

Recently, my oldest daughter was in the hospital for a stent in her kidney and bladder and had stayed with her one night while in the hospital. She also spent a few days recuperating at our home, since she lives out of town. I was pleasantly surprised to receive some beautiful flowers from her and family, a thank you! I took a few pictures of the flowers just playing around with my camera and wanted to share them. You don't get flowers everyday!

Here is a picture of Bob's copper tree that won first place in an Arts and Craft Show at the MS Trade Mart Center in Jackson, MS, for Shady Lawn Nursing Home. This particular tree was given to Mrs. Tremaine, a patient at the nursing home, that Bob made friends with while there. They all had a fun filled day with food, dancing and fellowship. Out of over 600 entries entered from nursing homes around the State of Mississippi, Bob's tree won. He was so excited. He makes these trees as a hobby and has given many of them away and also sells them. You Go Bob!
Katie, our peek-a-poo, playing around and acting silly!

She just got home from 'Wags' a dog grooming business and showing off her pretty red bows. Katie will be 10 years old this New Year's Eve. She has brought a lot of pleasure and joy to Bob and I. She is a very sweetthing!

Thanks Marian for coming by my blog when I have been feeling so yucky in the last couple weeks. I really can't thank you enough.
