Blooming Magnolias?

Picture that was in yesterday's paper of sites around Vicksburg.
Even with temperatures in the mid-20s overnight, Japanese magnolias across town, are blooming out, a sure sign that spring is on the way. The variety is one of the earliest blooming of all flowering trees, especially in the South.

Pretty,it's neat that they will bloom when it is so cold out.
