Youngsters On The Hunt

Dillon Little, 10, took down this 8-point buck during the youth weekend on November 14. Dillon was hunting with his father, Joe Little, when he shot the 190-pounder with a .243 rifle from 30 yards away. Dillon is the son of Joe and Niki Little.

Nine-year-old Vicksburg resident Lee Hanks bagged this 11-point, 220-pound buck while hunting on private land in Hinds County. He shot it using a 7mm saum, from a distance of 80 yards.
Seven-year-old Zack Montpelier killed his first deer while hunting with his father, Chris, at Dew Mac Hunting Club in Mound, LA. Zack shot the deer with a .223 rifle from a distance of 80 yards.
Tracey Owens, 9, from Brookhaven, shot this 8-point, 196-pound buck while hunting with his grandfather Steve Barnes. The buck's inside spread was 18 inches, the main beams were 20-1/2 inches, and it received a rough score of 137. My congrats to all our young hunters in our great outdoors. Charming, Just Charming!
