Picture of Yazoo City Tornado

This is an unbelievable/incredible shot of the tornado that hit Yazoo City, Mississippi on Saturday, April 24, 2010 sent to me by a friend. I would have been too scared to snap the picture considering the closeness of
the tornado.  Thought I would share the shot with you.

    Awesome picture, Marian. Thanks for sharing. I did a quick raise your hand vote and no one here in Idaho wants any part of that at anytime. I think my heart would have stopped tickin' if I was taking the photo. Wouldn't have to worry about it then!

    Actually this isn't the tornado that hit Yazoo City (or Madison Parish) but one that happened in I believe Iowa back in 2008. My daughter found the original pic and description on the internet via google images "Big Tornado" and it was the first one to pop up. Impressive though, isn't it.
