A Fun Filled Fall Day

Looks like the dogs were getting a treat at the flea market also.

Bikers coming through checking things out before the Spokes race.

Look at all the balloons!

Patty Mekus, who works at St. Aloysius High School, out politicking and seen here talking to my former classmate, Harold "Sonny" Logue in jacket and a Mr. Ellis standing by.

Our hometown Sheriff, Martin Pace, out politicking since he now has a competitor running against him for the first time.

Police on patrol making sure everyone is safe and having a good time.

A lady walking back behind us with her beautiful dog Daisy.

While taking a break I ran into Malcolm Allred with his two dogs, Max and P.D. (which stands for "Poor Dog") all tangled up. Malcolm and his wife live in a beautiful downtown loft.  Downtown Vicksburg is Malcolm's big backyard now.

Former Curator of the Old Court House Museum, Gordon Cotton, and now an author and historian in his mad hatter hat out enjoying the day.

My good friend and former dance instructor at the Senior Center, Sam Wong, as we visited while his wife Grace shopped at the flea market.  It was great to see both of them again since it has been a long time we have seen each other.  They are both dance instructors on a cruise line.

Bob coming back from taking a break and visiting with his friend, Billy Foster (knife maker) and his wife who were there selling their wares.

A political Osborne balloon in one of the trees in front of us.  Balloons were everywhere, tied to kids hands, in the trees and in the sky!

My little sweet great grandson, Ian, came by for a visit and was crying that he wanted a popgun and was waiting for his parents to buy it for him NOW as he walked away with only the POPGUN on his mind. He is growing up so fast and it want be long before he will be hunting on a deer stand just like his Dad, Grandmother and his Great Gran Gran.

  1. Your grandson looks like my two boys with that blond hair! My oldest will be 6 Tuesday. They grow up so fast.

  2. Ian will be 4 years old next month and really think kids today seem to mature faster with all the technology out there now. They do grow up fast Adam and enjoyed them while you can because one day when you turn around they will be gone to build their own lives. Thanks for coming by! :)
