M/V Carl Cannon Easing Through Vicksburg

M/V Carl Cannon heading north under the bridges at Vicksburg...

...with a big empty load.

The sandbars are way out and coming through Vicksburg and staying within the buoys to avoid running aground can be very stressful for the riverboat pilots.

A small boat speeds by.

Up close picture of M/V Carl Cannon as it passes Vicksburg.

Pictures were taken on August 6 and the river has dropped more since.  I have lived here all my life and never seen the river this low before.  We have rain and storms predicted today and the MS River is at 0.9 feet and rose: 0.2 foot.  Flood stage is 43 feet.

I ωas actually excitеd enough to leave a thought :-) I actually do
haѵe a few questionѕ for уou if it's allright. Could it be just me or do a few of the remarks come across like left by brain dead individuals? :-P And, if you are writing on other online social sites, I would like to follow anything new you have to post. Would you list every one of all your social pages like your Facebook page, twitter feed, or linkedin profile?
