While waiting for Hurricane Isaac to come through I would sit out on my porch in our glider. It was so hot in the house with the electricity off but the winds helped cooled things off during the day. We live in a bungalow-type cypress home and have two hummingbird feeders. Most of the time the two hummingbirds that show up have to use one when there are two hanging up and fight all the time. Here are a few shots I took while waiting for Isaac to leave town!
They are definitely funny little creatures - great time filler. I have two feeders in different locations and find that they seem to congregate at one at a time. They just need to protect their territory...
