What a story. Are you allowed to shoot bears how much you want or its regulated from the government? But it seems easy to get a bad shot with a bow than with rifle. Dont you need to have a tracking dog available??
It is illegal to shoot a bear in Mississippi. Different states have different laws. I'm sure this hunt was on managed land and they may have had access to a tracking dog if one was needed.
