This past weekend was the Indiana Youth Hunt and Shelby was able to get her very first deer. The doe weighed in at 110 lbs. Below her Father, Joe Conyers, videoed the hunt from the shooting house blind in the background. My congrats to Shelby in our great wild outdoors! I'm so proud of you and that was a great shot!
She used a .44 mag rifle at 50 yards and dropped it in it's tracks!
Bless her, that was an emotional moment - and that is to her credit. Well done to Shelby, she did that very well and her doe went straight down without hesitation. She will look back on this day with her father and treasure it for the rest of her life.
