A Barber's Buck!

My Facebook friend, Todd Downey, posted a picture of Bill, his Dad, harvesting a very nice 9 point buck recently. He said that his Dad has been on a roll shooting big deer for the last few years.  The buck was 18-3/4 inches wide and was taken out of an old stand at Yucatan Hunting Club.  Bill and Todd are owners of Downey's Barber Shop where my husband goes and gets his hair cut.  His shop is full of very nice deer mounts that he has harvested through the years.  My congrats to Bill on his very nice buck in our great wild outdoors!

Todd's hunting buddy, Jacob, his son, didn't bag a buck on this particular hunt but they had a good time hanging out recently.

Todd with his wife Brittani and son Jacob with his first deer taken January 2013.  My congrats to Jacob! Way to go!  What a lucky little boy!

  2. I will let him know. Saw him when I took Bob for his hair cut but did not have your message yet. Next time I will let him know. I'm sure by then he will have the horns on a plaque on his wall at the Barber Shop! It's full of deer mounts and racks. :)
