A Young Hunter's First Buck

Police officer, Larry L. Boeke, from West Point, Mississippi, is very proud of his son in killing his very first buck recently. My congrats to this young hunter in our great outdoors! Good job!

Marian Ann Love: Vicksburg, MS, United States; I am 83 years old and live high on the bluffs of a historical civil war town of Vicksburg, MS. I was born and raised here and attended St. Francis Xavier Academy, graduating in the Class of 1959. I started my government career at the Vicksburg District, U.S.A.C.E. I retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Waterways Experiment Station (now E.R.D.C.), with 25 years of service in September '95. I'm a proud mother of 4 daughters and 1 son (deceased), 6 granddaughters, 3 grandsons, and 5 great-grandsons. I have been deer hunting for 37 years now. In the last 5 years, I killed two wild hogs, one weighing 180 lbs. I always look forward to hunting season in our great Mississippi wild outdoors!
