Some Saturday Night Fun!

After attending the St. Francis/St. Aloysius Annual Class Reunion celebrating 58 years from graduating (Class of 1959), I made my way to The Big Muddy a restaurant, lounge with music, starring the Leaf River Blues Band that my son-in-law, Stan Bryant, was playing.  I was also met by my daughter, Theresa and hubby Stan while he was taking a break before the last hour of playing which started at 7:00 pm and ended at 10:00 pm.  A lot of people were dancing and having a good time listening to the blues being played.  I enjoyed watching Stan play for the very first time and they are booked to play again in June.

Band members are: Bobby D. Benison (Guitars and Harmonica)
Jimmy Burge (Bass)
Bobby Coleman (Drums)
Nathan Bankston (Vocals)
Jim Grantham (Keys)

The Leaf River Blues Blues Band was founded in 2005 by Bobby D. Benison. Bobby is an exceptional guitarist, playing old blues "finger style". Their influences include Willie Dixon, Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Elmore James and Robert Johnson.
