The Last Day Hunt In Simpson County!
Susan Moore Rook killed this really nice 10-point buck and was extra sweet because she slipped into her husband, Walt's deer stand. It was the last day of the 2017-18 hunting season in Simpson County, MS. The beams were 17.5 inches wide. She and her husband live in Mendenhall, MS and she loves to fish as well. Not only that, she has a poultry farm. I'm so proud of Susan and sending her my CONGRATULATIONS on harvesting a really nice deer in our great wild and wonderful Mississippi outdoors. Way to go, Susan!
