My dancing teacher at the Senior Center, who works for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, sent me this photo by e-mail Monday of her friend that was the overall winner of the Wildlife Federation Photography Contest which was announced (Sunday, August 5th) at the Mississippi Wildlife Extravaganza. This was a state contest. Her name is Pam Johnson and lives here in Vicksburg, MS. The majority of her pictures are of birds, flowers, nature pictures. That's an amazing picture. What a beautiful bird. I've never seen one like that before.
