Saturday's Sunset

I just missed the sun going down this evening at the Louisiana Overlook on the Mississippi River at Vicksburg but you can never beat a sunset!  It has it's own palette of God's paintings!

A pulled out view.

I notice a big towboat coming under the bridges but could not get the name on the boat but recognized it as the Corps of Engineers, M/V Mississippi V.

A pulled out view of the M/V Mississippi V as she continues towards the Yazoo Diversion Canal.
Not sure what the white spots are in the river...orbs?

Sunsets can be wonderful photo subjects - color, hues and object. Not to mention just what a calming end to the day they can bring...

You caught some nice pictures down by the river. :)
