First Prize Winner Of Foxii Creations!

I'm friends with Mark Jarrett on Facebook and his wife just started a new flameless soy tart business and said that the tripled scented tarts smell awesome!  They are made with 100% natural soy. To kick off her new business they asked to "like" her new Facebook page, Foxii Creations and to share the video, which I did.  After 100 likes they had a drawing for the very first give-a-way on the site and I was fortunate to win.  I received my soy tarts of Birthday Cake, Cucumber Melon and Botanical Orchard & Nectar and an electric plate/electric burner within a few days.  I'm delighted to say that this product is well worth spending the money for.  I'm using the Cucumber Melon and it smells so good throughout our home.  I put two of the cells in my warmer which has an on/off switch that I like. Right now they have a 20% sale off of the product and will remain in affect for 5 more days.  Use code "foxxi20" and check out the Facebook site at: http://www.foxxicreations.com. You can order from their site at http://www.artfire.com/ext/shop/studio/foxxicreations.  My blogging friends...you will not be disappointed!

Memorial Day Cookout @ The Love's

Yesterday we were invited over to my nephew, Marion Love, III, (Bubba's) home in Oak Park for hamburgers, hot dogs with all the trimmings.  Bob and I really had a nice time visiting with family and meeting new members of my nephew's new wife, Cassie's family.  While there we had a "PINK" guest to show up that otherwise would be the last thing on your mind to come to a cookout!  Here, Piggy Piggy!!!

Boaters having a good time on the sandbar Saturday in Louisiana at the Mississippi River across from Vicksburg.

Have a safe and Happy Memorial Day everyone!

She's Back In Town

Yesterday after our grandson's graduation from St. Aloysius at the Vicksburg Convention Center, we drove only a few blocks to see the American Queen Steamboat docked at the city waterfront.  Buses were being loaded for tour trips to the Vicksburg National Military Park and some went walking downtown after climbing a hill.  I hope they also got to go by the Vicksburg Farmer's Market that was from 8:00 to 11:00.  Downtown was really packed with all the activities going on.

Congratulations John Gregory!

John Gregory Phillips

The Vicksburg Convention Center held the commencement exercises of the Class of 2012 for the Vicksburg Catholic School (St. Francis Xavier Elementary/St. Aloysius High School) this morning. John Gregory, my step-grandson, graduated with honors from the class of 38 students.  Bob and I are so very proud of him and he received two more additional awards at the ceremony.  John plans to attend Mississippi State in the fall.   Below are some pictures I took at his graduation.

John received the Service Award and another award later in the program.

Ethan and I before the ceremony of his graduation from the Class of 2012.

I took this picture of Ethan before graduation.  Ethan has joined the Air Force and will report to duty sometime in September at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX.  I'm so very proud of him wanting to serve his country.  May God Bless him and keep him safe during his tour of duty.
