A 49-year-old Mississippi man found guilty of five counts of shooting deer with the aid of a light has been ordered to pay over $11,000 in fines by a Tunica County judge.
Donald Hensley, of Hernando, was found guilty last week. In addition to the fines, Hensley is under four months of house arrest and lost hunting privileges through 2019.
Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks Law Enforcement Bureau chief Col. Steve Adcock said Hensley was arrested during the Mississippi River flood earlier this year.
