A friend of mine came by Sunday and picked me up and as we were driving we received a call from a sweet lady and went by picked her up and ate lunch together. Afterwards, we took a nice Sunday drive. It was a beautiful day as we travel through the backroads of Warren County. We were headed to the lady's family home way back in the sticks, I was told. I have been down this road years ago to practice my shooting skills and to also zero in our guns for hunting season. Of course, so many memories came flooding back. We may have passed one vehicle along the way and goldenrods and wild ferns were everywhere on both sides of the road.
An old logging road called Fox Road.
Many hunting gates along the way.
The Pratt Family Acres.
You don't want to meet anyone on this road to the country home.
This looks good - a deer hunting stand to the right of the road.
A very narrow bridge and you have to stay in the middle. Period.
Finally we reached the family home and was greeted by 3 big dogs. This is Duke, Molly and Honeybun.
I think this cat's named is Lou.
Brandon was feeding the chickens with pieces of bread in the back yard.
Cameron with Duke.
Brandon holding Georgia who thinks she's human.
Cameron holding one of the Two Musketeers and I'm not sure what happened to No. 3.
The Pratt family home in our great wild, wonderful and secluded outdoors! We all had a great time visiting and making new memories!
