After my grandson and I were headed to town to watch the fireworks, everyone was leaving town because of the lightening, thunder and rain. We decided to asked a policeman who was directing traffic if it was cancelled and he said it was. We came on back home. After getting today's afternoon paper, I saw where it was held after the rain let up and was only delayed about 15 minutes. Oh well, maybe next year I'll try again. Came home and watched the New York's celebration on TV and it was beautiful!

Fireworks Held After Storm
After my grandson and I were headed to town to watch the fireworks, everyone was leaving town because of the lightening, thunder and rain.
