I was so happy to see my brother-in-law's picture finally making our Sunday's paper, The Vicksburg Post. He had posted it on his Facebook page and told him he should send it to the Post and they may published it and they did. Chris is retried from the Corps of Engineers, but works part time and also has his own business called, Ables Electronic Technology, Inc. He was down by the Mississippi River doing some work when he took a couple of pictures of the bridges one foggy morning. This was his first picture to enter and to be published. Now, I have some family competition!
He had sent in both pictures but the The Vicksburg Post chose the one above to publish.
Chris seen here reading the gages on the MS River at the bridges during the great Flood of 2011.

Congratulations to your cousin for the publication of his picture!
That foggy experience would have added to the mystery of navigating the flood waters on the Mississippi.
He's my brother-in-law and told him to submit it because it was a beautiful picture...so glad he did. My sister called and woke me up Sunday morning to tell me about it and how famous he is now. I could have shot her...anyway, I love the fog also. He did say that he missed another great shot when all he could see was the top of a pilot house of a towboat mid-way between the bridges. He was working and did not have time to take the picture...even tho he missed that shot...these are good shots. Thanks for your visit and the congrats. Will let him know CDGardens! :)
