Nine-year-old Jacob Stewart took down this 8-point, 180-pound buck in northern Warren County on December 27. The buck had an 18-inch spread and 21-inch main beams. Jacob is the son of Bobby and Tammie Stewart of Vicksburg.
Laura Reagan Logue, 10, shot this 8-point, 25-pound buck while hunting with her father in northern Warren County. The deer had a 17-1/2 inch spread. Laura is the daughter of Trey Logue and Tracey Boyd.
Christian Hampton, 16, took down this 8-point, 190-pound buck while hunting with her father, Ed Hampton, rear, on private land in Warren County on January 2. Christian is the daughter of Ed Hampton and Lori Hasty.
Garren Temple shot his first deer on December 9. The 8-pointer had a 14-inch spread, 19-inch beams and weighted 175 pounds. Garren is the son of Sam and Kristen Temple of Vicksburg.
Tristan Wilbanks' first buck, this 4-point, 165-pounder, was taken in Claiborne County. He made the 120-yard shot while hunting with his grandfather, Rayford Wilbanks. Tristan, 7, is the son of Jason and Melisa Wilbanks of Vicksburg. My congrats to all our young hunters in our great wild outdoors!
