The Alabama Monument
The back of the monument.
After I left the Texas monument I was not far from the Alabama State Memorial. It depicts seven heroic men from Alabama being inspired by a woman representing the state itself. You have to walk all the way around the monument to get the whole effect. It was dedicated in 1951.
