Pictured here with my grandson and wishing him a great future at job corps
My grandson, Carl, who is 19 years old, left this past Tuesday for Benjamin J. Hooks Job Corps Center in Memphis, TN. It's a technical training program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor that helps young people ages 16 through 24 to improve the quality of their lives through career technical and academic training. Carl is really good with computers and is looking towards a career in that field. He's also an avid deer hunter and harvested his first deer, a 5 pt. buck, at my hunting club, Jasper Bottom, in 2003. The family wishes him well with his studies and that he will succeed in following his dreams. Good Luck Carl!

Good for him!
So many young people just don't want to do anything these days.
Best wishes to Carl to reach the goal he has set before him. ;)
