Ethan patiently waiting for a deer to walk out. He is a good hunter. I will be taking him to my camp this season also and hopefully he will get one there. His day will come!We got up before daybreak, ate breakfast and followed Rex with his son, Spencer and daughter, Erin to the other side of the Beaver Dam. After we arrived we walked to The Box Stand and Rex and his children headed to their stands. We climbed up and got situated and waited and waited, but unfortunately, no deer came out. It was a beautiful morning and took some pictures as seen above of opening day of Youth Hunt. This is the very stand that I got on this past hunting season and missed two does...a day I will never ever forget and nobody lets me forget it either!

Wonderful pictures and story about your day at the youth hunt.
I bet every one had a good time getting out in the woods and hunting and visiting together. Hang in there Ethan, you will get a deer, just keep going hunting every chance you get.
