According to our Sunday's paper, The Vicksburg Post, the fall festival was a big hit at the Old Courthouse Museum Flea Market. The above picture was taken from the grounds of the New Courthouse while I was walking by. The Old Courthouse is across from it.
The flea market serves as one of the main fundraisers for the museum with proceeds from vendor fees going to support restoration to the building and new exhibits.
Bubba Bolm, the curator, and director of the museum said he thinks maybe three or four thousand people came out. The Old Courthouse is to the right of this picture.
In all, there were 100 vendors selling items ranging from homemade wooden crafts to antiques, local honey and more.
The museum puts on the flea market twice a year, once in October and once in April and it raises funds for the museum.
While heading home I stopped and took a picture of what was going on with the 23rd Annual Fall Festival with food, live blues music playing, pickleball and tractors for the kiddies to get on downtown.
Fall arrangements were all over town.
