Don Marco ~ The Master Crayola ArtistDon Marco was born in Northern Minnesota in the late 1920's. His interest in art was evident even before starting school. As a young adult in the Army Air Corp, he began his life's career in Air Traffic Control, which continued until his retirement from Honolulu International Airport in 1973. Much of his spare time was spent as a professional artist. Before retirement, Don started developing a technique to create fine art, using Crayola Crayons. Shortly after retiring, he published his first print. Living in Southern California, his work was in demand, including commissions from Burt Reynolds and a one-man show at his Dinner Theater in Florida.
Hard to imagine these are done with crayons! What talent! Charming, Just Charming!

Brilliant work I like Indians and Cowboys. Heidi too paints then and when with crayons and so I knew a good artist could use almost any media to produce art.

I also love cowboys and indians...I grew up on Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, Hopalong Cassidy, etc.,and I'm part Cherokee..so there you are! Like your new photo..Thanks for coming by to visit me. Glad you have healed from your broken rib. :)
That is amazing. Back when I was a kid a crayola work I did in art class got selected to be in an exhibit in the local art museum. It was not nearly as good as these works of art.
