A memory plaque that was erected for Keith Laurie...he actually picked out this spot himself near the river's edge before he died. He was a really nice guy and a great hunter. We all miss him very much!
Well, THISISIT, what is left of it. It gets flooded out a lot and Bob and I used to spend nights here way back in the late 80's...The sign above the porch is in the kitchen at the main camp house now. We liked the name so much that our license tag on our 2006 GMC Sierra is, THISIT!
Just inside the door to the chowdown/kitchen area. Looks like a stove on top of a table.
A bunk room off the screen-in area of the front porch.
Back room with more bunk beds.
Side view with containers to catch the water as if falls off the house...those have been there forever!
Nothing last forever...
Towboat Arlen B. Cenac, Sr., heading down the river as we head back to the main camp house.
A good reminder, with the camp house in view, to unload your gun before you get back into camp.
