An abandon airstrip that would bring the hunters in for the big hunt.
This camp was here when we hunted on Kings Point Island.
New buildings that have been erected.
This camp is new and is down from Riverland heading out. Between the two hunting camps right on the road, I just happened to look down a road going into the woods when I saw a big rack buck standing in the middle of the road. Bob was looking straight ahead. I put on breaks and backed up but it was long gone.
Coming to get us...
Hope we will be able to come back soon to visit our old hunting buddies.
Leaving Kings Point Island...
In view as you get on the main (Port of Vicksburg) road, is a beautiful monument you can see which is located in the Vicksburg National Military Park.
Part of the lumber yard of Anderson-Tully Lumber Company (ATCO) where Bob was Director of Labor Relations/Personnel Manager for 15 years. The End
