A group of hunters shows off a 12-foot, 575-pound alligator they killed on private land in Issaquena County in early October. It took eight shots to kill the gator. The hunters are, front from left, Justin Denton, Devin Houck, Eric Goza, Ed Newbaker and Ginger Gerache; at back are Kevin Goza and Johnny Gerache. Congrats to all the hunters in our great wild outdoors!

Eight shots? How embarrassing! Troy and the Swamp People on the History Channel routinely kill a gator, up close, with a single .22 bullet. Clearly, these boys need some "skoolin!"
I don't know what happened in this instance Robert but he is awfully big and maybe they all wanted to get in on the act...who knows! Thanks for coming by! :)
