The Myers family of Vicksburg has been a busy bunch of deer hunters this season!
Stanley Myers, killed this 225-pound 10-pointer with his new .35 Whelen on private land in Warren County on November 27th.
Myers' grandson, 6-year-old John Russell Myers, was hunting with his father on Thanksgiving Day when he bagged his first deer - a 124-pound doe - with a 7mm-08. John Russell Myers is the son of Todd and Trish Myers.
On November 23, Stanley Myers' granddaughter, Skylar Williams, killed this 65-pound doe with a Marlin 30/30 while hunting private land with her father. Skylar Williams is the daughter of Lori and David Williams.
My congrats to all three hunters in our great outdoors. It's really nice to share the sport of hunting with family members while making fond memories that will last a lifetime.
