Jillian Creel, 11, bagged her first deer while hunting on private land in southern Warren County. The 7 pointer weighed 180 pounds and had a 15-inch spread. Jillian is the daughter of Alisha and Al Creel.
Husband and wife Shirley and Robert Henry each killed a deer in the last week. Shirley Henry killed a 9-point buck with a primitive weapon in northern Warren County. Her deer had main beams of 19-1/2 and 19 inches, a spread of 15-1/2 inches, bases of 4-1/2 inches, and weighed 200 pounds.
Vicksburg resident Robert Henry killed this 10-point buck with a primitive weapon on December 8 in northern Warren County. The deer weighed 200 pounds, had a spread of 18 inches, a 5-1/2 inch base, and the main beams measured 22-3/4 inches and 22 inches.
Vicksburg resident Cade Walters shot this 8-point, 140-pound deer with a .308 rifle on private land in Bovina on November 18. The deer's rack measured 16-1/2 inches wide and 16-1/2 inches on the main beam. Cade is the son of Mark and Cathy Walters.

What great hunters, nice bucks. We will hunt wild boars with dog tomorrow. We have snow and now its 0 C/F so its not cold.
