A beautiful sunset over Louisiana.
M/V Amy Frances coming into view with a supply boat trying to catch up to her. The barrel of the cannon "Widow Blakely" shown looking out towards the sunset with the towboat going up towards the bridges on the MS River.
Bob and I went to the Louisiana Overlook this past Monday, December 10 and saw three towboats working the river. You are lucky to see one sometimes but we hit it right this time. Above M/V Bethany Dawn making her way towards to MS River bridges at Vicksburg with a small supply boat going to meet up with the M/V Amy Frances coming up the river.
M/V Bethany Dawn as she passes Vicksburg.
A pulled-out picture of M/V Bethany Dawn.
Awesome with three towboats in the picture at one time!
M/V Amy Frances making her way north as she gets closer to the right bank because of the sandbars in the middle of the river's bend.
M/V Amy Frances
This was the last towboat to make her way by Vicksburg before we left. Could not make out the name of the vessel because it was getting dark.

This design is spectacular! You definitely know how to
keep a reader entertained. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well, almost.
..HaHa!) Excellent job. I really enjoyed what you had
to say, and more than that, how you presented it.
Too cool!
