In Memory Of Rex Dean Howell

Just got word that my hunting friend, Rex Howell passed away this afternoon around 3:30. It just breaks my heart and will miss him terribly. Prayers for the Howell Family and friends. It is a sad day. This picture was taken in January 2020 with his best friend Mark, brother Paul, myself, and Rex. He was 62 years old. Our last picture together at the famous Christmas Place Plantation and Hunting Club near Eden, MS. (In memory)

This picture is in memory of my deer hunting/blogging friend, Rex Dean Howell, who passed away a year ago on January 31, 2021, at the age of 62. I met him on May 5, 2007, at the family's deer camp called the famous Christmas Place Plantation Hunting Club on the edge of the MS Delta. The picture of us together was taken on July 20, 2009, a workday at the deer camp by his son, Spencer, at the North Cornfield. Rex is truly missed by his family/friends, and will never be the same without him. I miss him so much but have cherished memories of our friendship and hunts together through the years. Rex, Camo, and Thunderhoof.

Found this picture on Marian Ann Love’s blog and I’m so happy I came across it! This is what I envision heaven looking like with my dad there. Erin Howell

I'm sorry to hear that you lost another good friend, Marian. I guess we're at the age where that happens.
