This is Hwy 61 at Redwood about 9 miles north of town. Pictures were taken about 9 days ago and was sent to me last Tuesday by e-mail. The Mississippi River finally crest this past Saturday. Hopefully, the water will be receding soon.

Wow, that's some flooding. Here's hoping you're right and it is over now and the water will start going down.
I too hope things are going to settle down on the river in your neck of the woods.
The Mississippi River side of Iowa is seeing rising water because of melting snow and rain ontop.

I hope things are starting to settle down as well. It is amazing the damage that water can do.
