Awesome pictures a good friend of mine, Linda, sent me from Maine of her daughter Ashley and husband Bob. Last Saturday during a youth hunt, Ashley who is 12 years old, took this fine turkey and Linda's husband Bob harvested his on May 1st. Ashley's turkey was 18-1/2 lbs., with an 8-1/2 inch beard. Bob's was 7-3/4 inch beard. Congratulations to both of them in our great outdoors! This is such a sweetthing!

Congratulations to Ashley and her father Bob. It always thrills me to see a young hunter or huntress successfully harvesting game. What a great way to spend quality time with a child while at the same time passing along our cherished heritage to a new generation.

Awesome job to both of them! Great to see the young ones getting outside. Bob is doing a very fine thing by encouraging his daughter in hunting!
