"Black" Whitetail Deer?

They are called melanistic (the condition of having a high amount of dark pigment in the skin, hair, etc.) - the opposite of albino.  The photos were taken by R. J. Verge near Beamsville Ontario, Canada.  They are more rare than albino deer.  If you love animals...this is a rare and beautiful set of photos.

I didn't know there was a condition opposite of albino. Interesting.
