Flowers For Paw Paw & Visiting Son's Gravesite

Yesterday, two of my four daughters, Theresa (Teri), Debra (Debi), and William David (Will) came to Vicksburg to put flowers on their Dad's grave.  He died on March 18, 2020.  While there we went by my son's grave to take Will by his namesake Great Uncle's gravesite.  Here are a few photos that were taken while there.

Little Will in Debi's lap, her first grandson.  Noah James was with his Mom, Lucy, and did not come.  Will and Noah are only a year and day apart in age.

My Great Grandson Will found a small cornerstone to sit on while we were there and was in deep concentration.

I'm sure this is all new to him and does not understand what is going on at a very young age.

Will at his Paw Paw's grave.   With the ground so hard and the wind blowing, we had to put the flowers up against the tombstone that was recently laid.

May you Rest in Peace, Jesse Aaron Boyd, Jr., born August 21, 1933, and died March 18, 2020.

Bless you, most younger people today aren't taught to honor the dead or remember their family history.
