I first saw this picture of Bo yesterday as it fed through Facebook and I wished him good luck. His Dad, Jeff Hunt, said that he was hoping for a buck while hunting on a stand in Pineland, South Carolina.
Here's Bo with his spike that he shot with a .243 and put him down right where he shot with no tracking. Way to go Bo!

Jeff Hunt is my Facebook friend and is shown here with his proud son Bo. According to Jeff it was an awesome hunt last night. It was cold, windy and almost dark with still no deer sightings. He gave a couple of small grunts with his Treestand Assassin deer caller and that brought a big doe to the edge of the field, who looked around for us, then headed over to the feeder. Moments later he heard a grunt right behind them. So he told Bo to get ready, and just then the spike popped out next to them, looked around and then headed over to the doe. However as they prepared for the shot, they spotted them and the doe ran off. But the buck hesitated just long enough for Bo to get the cross hairs on him and dropped him on the spot. He said it is truly a hunt that he would never forget. My congrats to Bo and to his Dad for teaching him how to hunt in our great wild outdoors.
