Kolton Cook and his hunting friend of Holly Springs, MS, shot 53 crows over the weekend. I did not know that you can eat crows. Someone commented that they marinate the breast then wrap them in bacon and put it on the grill.
Another comment made that it takes skill in killing crows and it's not about a meal. It's about selective harvesting to reduce crop predation.
One other comment said - Good job killing the crop of those turkey nest robbers. He said a lot of times calling hen notes with a turkey caller, the crows will fly in looking for a nesting area.
My congratulations to both hunters in our great wild and wonderful Mississippi outdoors! You learn something new every day. You eat what you kill!

It does take a lot of skill, more power to them if they can put them to use.
