
Gage Ederington brought in the new year in fashion after killing this buck while hunting with his dad on New Year's Day in Tensas Parish, LA. The deer had a 15-inch spread and 21-inch beams. Gage shot the deer with a 7mm-08 from about 75 yards.

Lezlie Whitehead killed this 8-point buck while hunting with her dad, Kyle Whitehead, in south Warren County at Magnolia Hunting Camp. She used a rifle and shot the deer at about 70 yards. The 175-pound buck had a 13-inch spread and 18-inch main beam. Kyle said Lezlie was sleeping at the bottom of the stand just before waking up to make the shot.

Logan Sanders, 5, killed his first buck, a 5-point, while hunting with his grandfather, Stanley Harris of Vicksburg, at a
deer camp in Fayette. The deer had a 20 1/4-inch spread and weighed 175 pounds. He shot the deer with a .243 rifle. He is the son of Mikey and Haley Truesdell and Richard Sanders.
