Bradlee Ross shows off a pair of trophies. He killed his first buck, a 6-pointer, on December 23, then took a 5-pointer a week later. He also killed a doe during youth weekend. All of the deer were shot with his .243 rifle while hunting on family land in Warren County. Bradlee is the son of Jon and Jennifer Ross. Congrats to our two young hunters!
Cody Bryant, 8, of Vicksburg, killed this 150-pound, 7-pointer on January 6 while hunting with his dad in Claiborne County. He made the 75-yard shot with a .243 rifle. This was Cody's first buck. He killed a doe on January 11, 2007. He will certainly be back in the woods seeing as hunting is his favorite sport.
